Albuquerque Pet Sitters is operated by a professional biologist (BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and MS in Biology from Creighton University) who has experience in raising endangered species in captivity, conducting research in animal behavior, and managing projects in the fields of conservation biology and environmental, health & safety. Our pet sitting professionals are certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and screened to ensure that they can be trusted to provide exceptional pet care in your home.

You can choose to have us visit your home one or two times per day between 6am – 9pm. We also provide overnight (8pm - 6am) and 24-hour pet sitting and house sitting services upon request. During our visit, we offer the following services:

  • Personalized care for your pet(s) - to be specified by you!
  • Food, water, treats, oral medications
  • Exercise and playtime
  • Dog walking
  • Home security (mail, newspapers, trash can, alternate lights etc.)
  • Cleaning (poop pick-up, litter box, and any other light cleaning duties that you specify)
  • Plant care, bird feeders, sprinklers
  • Any additional services that you might require

We request a preliminary meeting so that you can meet the pet sitter and the pet sitter can meet your pets and get familiar with the pet care and home care services that you require. In the preliminary meeting, we also review the contract and discuss the management of keys, emergency contact and veterinary care information.
